The most famous Chocolate Cake on youtube

This is one of the most, if not the most, famous chocolate cake recipes I ever came across. It has over 50M views on youtube and is absolutely delicious. The video is in Portuguese but I will add the link so credit is given (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qg2EqHDyJGM

Ingredients

• 2 eggs

• 2 cups of sugar (240g each)

• 1 cup of chocolate powder (240g)

• 2 cups of plain flour (240g each)

• 1 cup of hot water (240ml)

• 1 cup of hot oil (240ml)

• 1 tablespoon (15g) of baking powder

Topping

• 395ml of condensed milk

• 1 tablespoon of butter

• 2 tablespoons of chocolate powder

• 200g of chocolate sprinkles to decorate

Instructions

Preheat the oven at 170 fan forced for about 15 min.

Mix well the sugar, chocolate and eggs (don't need a mixer, you can do it by hand easily)

Add the flour and mix well.

Apparently the secret on recipe is to boil the oil and water together and add to the mixture. Add the oil/water and mix well. Add the baking power last, mix well and pull mixture on a square cake pan.

Cook for about 30 - 35 min (depending on the temperature of your oven

Prepare the topping

Mix all the ingredients and cook on low heat until the mixture starts to loosen up from the pan.

Remove the cake from oven and let it cool down. Don't take the cake out of the pan. Cut in squares, pour the chocolate topping and add the sprinkles. Remove the squares already cut and place them on a big plate or tray.

This cake is a hit with the kids (and adults alike).
